Hello, It's so nice to meet you!
I'm Megan Hammann, CFP
Founder of Moneyology
I have been in the financial services industry for the last 17 years and during that time became a licensed stockbroker, obtained my MBA with a Finance Concentration and became a Certified Financial Planner, along with other designations throughout the years.
These designations have certainly given me a lot of knowledge but my biggest lessons and most valuable experiences have come from the countless hours I have spent with my clients hearing their stories and helping them maximize their financial lives through planning and education. I have seen firsthand the impact a strong financial education can have on future generations as we work to build both the parent's and children's financial future.
My Story
I graduated from college in 2008 with a degree in music and had dreams of singing and traveling all around the world. The universe had other plans for me.
I graduated during the great recession and needed to find a job so I applied to everything I could and was lucky to land a job in the finance industry. Not exactly the way I expected my career to start! Step by step I learned everything I could about the industry and promised myself I would never forget what it felt like to be learning this for the first time. My goal now is to help as many people as possible learn these skills so they can teach their kids how to make good financial decisions and build wealth for generations to come.
Why I Do This
Since I started in my career, I have had a passion for education. There are so many who have not received formal financial education and have had to learn all of their money experiences through trial and error. Now they are expected to teach their own children something that they had to figure out on their own.
Ever since my kids were born, my goal was to give them every opportunity, including the chance to build their own money story and learn from an early age how to make great financial choices. I’ll do the same for you and show you how to build your family's financial dreams for generations to come.
I do this for the kids in these pictures and every other family picture hanging up on walls all around the world. I know that I have the expertise to make a difference and I want to be able to give that to you. By sharing my knowledge with you, I can make an impact in your life and the lives of your children.
